The CAT Awards

2004 Nominees and Recipients

2004 was the first year for Calgary-ACTS to celebrate and recognize the excellence in Community Theatre. The Awards started off with the working titles of the "People's Choice Awards", the "Calgary Amateur Theatre Awards" and the "Community Theatre Awards", as all nominations were submitted from Calgary audiences. At the Awards show, the acronym "The CAT Awards" was announced and has been the name ever since.

The 2004 CAT Award recipients were announced Friday, August 27, 2004 at the Community Arts Centre. Special Thanks to our Guest Emcee, Chris Gerritsen of the Calgary Sun.
