| Small Time Theatre presents The Sound of Music: Youth Edition! Come watch our cast of 40 talented young performers (grades 1-9) bring this beloved musical to life! Featuring a trove of cherished songs, including "Climb Ev'ry Mountain," "My Favorite Things," "Do-Re-Mi," "Sixteen Going on Seventeen," and the title number, The Sound of Music has won the hearts of audiences worldwide, and Small Time Theatre's performance will be sure to win your hearts too! Follow the inspirational story, based on the memoir of Maria Augusta Trapp, as Maria, an ebullient postulant, serves as governess to the seven children of the imperious Captain von Trapp, bringing music and joy to the household. But as the forces of Nazism take hold of Austria, the von Trapp family must make a moral decision. Showtimes will be nightly at 7:00 p.m. from December 11-13, with a 2:00 p.m. matinee on Saturday, December 13. | |
